Financial Accounts Manager
Location: Quantum UK Business Solutions Limited, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £31,500 – £45,000 per annum
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, on-site only

Quantum UK Business Solutions Limited is looking for an ambitious and detail-focused Financial Accounts Manager to join our growing team. This is a key role within our accountancy and business advisory practice, supporting financial reporting, compliance, management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and client-focused financial work.
The successful candidate will help manage accurate financial records, ensure compliance with UK accounting standards, HMRC and Companies House requirements, and provide useful financial insights to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
The role will include:
Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual accounts
Supporting management accounts, budgets and forecasts
Ensuring compliance with HMRC, Companies House and UK accounting requirements
Preparing VAT returns and statutory filings
Managing reconciliations, cash flow, accounts payable and receivable
Supporting financial analysis and reporting for senior management
Liaising with clients, auditors and other professional stakeholders
Supervising and supporting junior finance team members where required
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate should have:
Degree-level education in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related subject
At least 1–2 years’ experience in financial accounts or management accounts
Good knowledge of UK GAAP, HMRC and Companies House requirements
Experience using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or similar
Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables and financial analysis
Good attention to detail, accuracy and ability to meet deadlines
Strong communication skills and a professional approach with clients and colleagues
Professional qualifications such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA or AAT, either part-qualified or fully qualified, would be an advantage.
